Our deepest thanks go out to all of the Corporate Sponsors and our 30+ Vendors that helped make the 2016 Montgomery Fireworks one of the most favorite community events of the year. We celebrated our Independence Day this year on a gorgeous evening (June 30th), and estimates are that some 7,000 – 8,000 people were on hand to enjoy the night, one of Montgomery’s best.  Local entertainment was in abundance. We first entertained by the jazz quintet, Perfectly Sharp, and after the Dance Factory strutted their moves, we were fortunate to hear the great music of Just Duet – with Friends.  And before the great fireworks show, Siana Villaverde sang both God Bless America and the Star Spangled Banner.  Feedback has been extremely positive.  Click on the following link to view an Aerial Video of the evening on vimeo, provided by drone specialist John Gallagher.  You may also view photographs of the evening in this Montgomery Twp. Flickr album.

This continues to be one the largest event in the Township each year and it affords the opportunity for us all to gather as families, enjoy camaraderie, discuss community issues and meet new neighbors.  Further, many local not-for-profit organizations were on hand to discuss their mission and raise funds for their future needs.  Major thanks and kudos to the various Township departments that assist in making this event run so smoothly – The Fire Departments, the Police Department, the EMS, Public Works, and Fire Safety and Public Health specialists.  This event would not be possible without the continued and dedicated support of Karen Zimmerman, Director of the Montgomery Recreation Department.

Special thanks to our 2016 Corporate Sponsors, names on right side of this page, many which support us year after year.
